How we check our phones
At US MOBI (usmobi.ge) in Tbilisi, every used phone is checked three times: in the USA, by our technicians, and together with you when you buy in the shop. The phones are brought from the USA: used iPhones and Samsung phones, never opened up or repaired. We grade them A, B or C by cosmetic condition and sell them with a 3-month store warranty.
This page sums up what the grades mean, how we handle battery health, what the warranty covers and how returns work.
When and by whom each phone is checked
Every used phone is checked three times:
- First in the USA.
- Then by our technicians.
- Finally, when you buy in the shop, we check it together with you.
The IMEI is checked in the USA before the phone is shipped, so it is not blocked or stolen.
If you want to check a phone yourself as well, our guides help: How to check IMEI and find out if a phone is locked and How to check if an iPhone is original.
Never opened up, never repaired
Our used phones are brought from the USA and have never been opened up or repaired. They are used, not refurbished.
Sometimes we also have new phones. New devices come with a 12-month store warranty, used phones with a 3-month one.
If the phone is opened or repaired by an unauthorized service after you buy it, the warranty no longer applies.
Grades A, B and C
We sort used phones into three grades by cosmetic condition:
- Grade A: like new, 9.5/10
- Grade B: slight signs of use, 8/10
- Grade C: noticeable signs of use, 6/10
Scratches and wear that match the grade are not a defect and are not covered by the warranty. Used phones of all three grades come with the same 3-month store warranty.
The price depends on the grade: each grade's price is on the product page (iPhone, Samsung).
Grade C is sold in the shop only, and online installments are not available for it right now. In the shop, though, you can buy a grade C phone paying in cash, by bank transfer or in installments. To buy one, call us or visit the shop. Online installments and free delivery apply to grades A and B.

Battery
Battery health differs from phone to phone, so we do not promise a fixed minimum.
In the shop, every phone has its battery health written on it as a percentage, so you can see it before you buy.
Battery capacity naturally declines with use and is not covered by the warranty.
On an iPhone you can see battery health yourself in Settings. Where to find it: Battery health on an iPhone.
Warranty: what it covers and what it does not
Used phones come with a 3-month store warranty, new devices with a 12-month one. The warranty starts on the day you receive the phone. It covers manufacturing defects and technical faults that arise under normal use.
For warranty service you need proof of purchase or the warranty card.
The warranty does not cover:
- liquid, drop or impact damage;
- a phone opened or repaired by an unauthorized service;
- a phone locked to an iCloud or Google account (for example, after a forgotten password);
- damage caused by a non-standard charger;
- software tampering (jailbreak, root);
- wear parts such as the battery, cables and chargers;
- scratches and wear that match the grade.
The full list is in our Return and warranty policy.
How to make a warranty claim
- Call +995 558 24 27 07 and describe the problem.
- Bring the phone to the shop or send it by Georgian Post to 12 Akaki Tsereteli Avenue, Tbilisi.
- Diagnostics take 3 to 10 working days. We tell you the result by phone.
- If it is a warranty case, we repair or replace the phone, and if neither is possible, we refund what you paid.
- If it is not a warranty case, we offer a paid repair and start it only with your consent.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under Georgian law and does not limit them.
Returns and a faulty phone
A phone bought online, over the phone or through social media can be returned within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you receive the phone, and you need to call us on +995 558 24 27 07 before it ends.
The phone must come back in the same condition you received it in: in its original packaging, with everything that came with it, without new damage, and signed out of iCloud or Google.
The 14-day return does not apply to a phone bought in the shop after seeing it in person. In that case the warranty applies.
If the phone turns out to be faulty within 7 calendar days of delivery and you did not cause it, it is replaced, not repaired, with a phone of the same model and grade, and we pay for the shipping. If the same model is not in stock, we offer another phone or a full refund.
